St Peter Academy is staffed by the Religious Sisters Filippini and 17 dedicated and certified teachers, who are committed to bringing out the best in each student, as we grow in knowledge, skills and values.

Our academy consists of a full day kindergarten thru grade 8 with an after care program. The Academy also has an early childhood program. Three and four year old tiny tots are accepted in this program.

Our academy provides us with a strong religious education curriculum. We explore our faith through daily classes, daily prayer, participation in monthly first Friday masses, paraliturgies, Lenten stations of the cross and our annual may crowning.

Our academic education is challenging! High standards, strong motivation, effective discipline and an atmosphere of caring combine to foster excellence! We score well above the national averages in standardized testing and due to the strong foundation which we receive at the academy, all our alumni are successful and many achieve honor status in their high schools.

Our state of the art computer and science lab programs are two of the highlights of our school. Our new science lab is air conditioned and provides our students with ample space to perform hands-on experiments.

The expanded programs at the academy include gym, art, music, library and spanish. After school programs include basketball, track, cheerleaders, bowling club, computer photo shop club, photography club, student council, newspaper and yearbook.

You'll be impressed with the quality and level of student participation. We would like more children from our parish to experience a great catholic education. I am proud of my school and hope to see you there to share the good news - excellence in catholic education - making a world of difference!
